· General Information This group plans fun activities during the year for Mt. Lakes residents and their guests. Some of the activities the Recreation Committee have sponsored this past year included Winterfest (jointly with Haverhill), giant bonfire, Opening Day at the Beach, a fishing derby for children, two ice-cream socials, Labor Day fireworks, Oktoberfest with a hayride and pumpkin carving, and several potlucks. Additional activities and events are continuously being planned.
